Electronic Leak Detection for Plano Properties

A hidden leak does not stay a plumbing problem for long. Most Plano homes sit on a slab, and a slow drip under the foundation soaks the clay underneath. Wet clay shifts, the slab moves, mold takes hold, and one leak turns into three separate repair bills.

We use acoustic listening tools and pressure isolation testing to locate leaks before opening anything, so there is no exploratory cutting and no tearing into walls on a guess.

According to the EPA WaterSense program, household leaks waste close to 1 trillion gallons of water every year across the United States, and in Plano that loss adds up fast with hard water corroding pipes from the inside.

Plano water comes from the North Texas Municipal Water District, which draws from surface reservoirs including Lavon and Texoma. The mineral content is hard and the chloramine disinfection in the system is gentle on the body but harder on rubber gaskets and brass fittings than free chlorine would be.
